Kindergarten enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year will open Monday, Feb 5, 2024. Incoming kindergarten students must be age 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024 to be enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year and reside within the District boundaries. Parents must provide three pieces of evidence verifying residency within Mokena School District 159 boundaries, one from Category I and two from Category II.
Category I:
▪ Real Estate Tax Bill (most recent)
▪ Mortgage Papers/Loan Statement
▪ Signed and Dated Lease w/ proof of payment (current year)
Category II:
▪ Driver’s License / IL State ID
▪ Gas/Electric/Water Bill (most recent)
▪ Vehicle Registration/ Insurance Policy
▪ Homeowners/ Renter Insurance Papers
▪ Voter Registration
▪ Current IL Public Assistance documentation
