Kindergarten enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year will open online Monday, Feb 5, 2024!
Incoming kindergarten students must be age 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024 to be enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year and reside within the District boundaries.

Yesterday Officer Tom started the five week session on safety with the first graders! Today’s focus was on when to call 911. He also gave them all the homework of learning their parent phone number and their address.

Kindergarten students held a "Weather Expo" with their second grade buddies this week. Kindergarteners presented the writing they accomplished throughout their Weather Wonders ELA module. We are "snow' proud of their hard work!





This morning the first grade team had breakfast with the winners from the Fall Swing fundraiser. The breakfast was provided by the PTA. Thank you, PTA!











MES Student Council boxed up all kinds of supplies for foster kids & teens in Will and Grundy County. They were able to pack a van full of socks, games, coloring books, art supplies, lotions, chapsticks, diapers & more! Thank you to our amazing MES families for their generosity!


2nd graders in Ms. Matt's and Ms. Lagunas' classes had their 50 States Celebration last week! Students dressed up as their chosen state, conducted research to create posters, and took visitors through a variety of activities!











Wednesday is the winter concert at MIS! We can't wait! 🎄


Kinderbuddies wrote letters to Santa and made an elf craft this morning!
