MES students and teachers began their first Second Step lesson of the school year this week. Unit 1 is all about growth mindset and goal setting! Kindergarten and 1st graders learned about behaviors that help them pay attention. 2nd graders learned about ways to get better at a skill. 3rd graders learned about what happens to their brain when they learn something new. Great work, Stars! ⭐

Mrs. O's Kindergarten class became scissors certified. They learned how to be safe when using their scissors at school.
