Our first grade students are so excited to add bird feeders to their classroom windows! The feeders provide an extension to the learning taking place in their ELA modules about birds. Thank you to the PTA for sponsoring this experience for our students.


3rd grade students ventured out to the Beverly Arts Center to watch a "Beauty and the Beast" play! This field trip was an extension to their ELA module on classic literary tales.

Future author alert! Elliana Gorski from Mrs. Dare's class decided to dive deeper into her classroom research about Bald Eagles and created her own informational text. Her book includes facts and diagrams about Bald Eagle features and behaviors.


MES student Anthony Garcia was the top fundraiser for KHC for 2024 raising $1,195.92! Each year, we name the central gym after the top fundraiser.
Also, thank you to all of our families- we raised $39,496.83 this year! Thank you for helping kids live heart healthy lives!

Our Kindergarteners had a visit today from the Morton Arboretum! This visit extended student learning from their ELA modules about trees. Thank you to the Mokena Educational Foundation for sponsoring this experience for our students.



What an AMAZING turnout at our annual Volley for the Cure game last night!! Thank you to everyone who came out to support such a great cause. We're happy to fundraise for the Cancer Support Center each year. Stay tuned for total donations!











The Annual Volley for a Cure Game is TOMORROW at MJHS! The doors will open at 5:30. Game time is 6! 🏐
Temporary tattoos for $1.00, sign making station, 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets, and concessions! Money raised will benefit the Cancer Support Center.
